Midyear 2026
This serves to inform you of the following:
1. Requests to schedule thesis/dissertation defense must be submitted to the MSEP Office one (1) month before the date of defense.
2. The thesis/dissertation manuscript must be submitted to the thesis/dissertation reader three (3) months before the thesis/dissertation defense. This should give sufficient time for the reader to review the manuscript prior to endorsing for final defense.
3. The examiners are given one (1) month to read the thesis/dissertation. Thus, the defense date should be no earlier than one month after the examiners are given a copy of the thesis/dissertation. The manuscript should be submitted to the examiners one (1) month before the thesis/dissertation defense.

*Students who wish to defend their thesis/dissertation before July 25, 2026 must submit their request earlier than July 6, 2026 and must **submit their manuscripts to the reader earlier than May 5, 2026.
